Your adventure begins in the morning with pick up from Surabaya or Malang using our comfortable private vehicle. The journey to Lumajang takes around 4–5 hours from Surabaya or 2,5-3 hours from Malang, passing through scenic countryside views and mountain landscapes along East Java’s southern route.

Short Break & Trekking Preparation

Upon arrival at the Tumpak Sewu area, you’ll be welcomed with a light snack and refreshing drink. After a short briefing from your guide, you’ll prepare for an easy trek down the valley towards the waterfall.

Explore the Beauty of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall

The adventure continues with a 30–45 minute trek descending the valley. Along the way, you’ll cross bamboo bridges and streams before reaching the base of Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.
Here, you’ll witness one of Indonesia’s most breathtaking natural wonders—hundreds of water streams pouring gracefully from the cliffs above, forming misty curtains and rainbows under the sunlight. Take your time to enjoy the fresh air, relax, and capture stunning photos of this magical landscape.

Rest and Return to the Starting Point

After soaking in the beauty of Tumpak Sewu, enjoy a short break with mineral water and a light snack. Then, slowly trek back to the parking area where your vehicle awaits for the return journey.

Drive Back to Malang or Surabaya

In the afternoon, you’ll travel back to Malang or Surabaya, arriving around 5:00–6:00 PM. This marks the end of a day filled with unforgettable memories and breathtaking natural experiences.
